The method according to Dr. Ackermann is one of the manual treatment methods, distinguished by quick and purposeful diagnostics. In practice, this method consists in "unblocking" the joint using appropriately selected therapeutic techniques. Such a "blocked" joint can cause a variety of pain, often occurring in places distant from the dysfunctional joint.

Individual techniques in this method are limited to exactly one segment, therefore only the vertebra or joint that caused the pain is "unblocked".

Most often, Dr. Ackermann's method is used, among others in pains in the spine, head, torso and limbs. Over 50 years of experience in treating Dr. W.P. Ackermann and his 30 years of teaching and therapeutic activity have made this method one of the oldest and most recognizable, due to its high effectiveness in combating pain.
