KINESIOTAPING

Kinesiotaping - A therapeutic method that consists in sticking selected parts of the body with patches of a special structure.

It was developed and popularized in the early 1980s by a Japanese dr. Kenzo Kase. It uses a specially made plaster. It is a non-restrictive plaster, extending only in length, with a weight and thickness similar to the parameters of the skin, free from drugs or latex, resistant to water, allowing air flow due to wave weaving.

A strictly defined method of gluing with kinesiotaping patches stimulates the lymphatic system, improves blood circulation, regulates muscle tone and activates pain relief systems. On this basis, various possibilities have emerged in the use of kinesiotaping in orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, sports physiotherapy, with various pain problems and lymphatic problems.
